Kids Aid USA is a United States non-profit public charity. The mission of our organization is to provide aid to children in need, worldwide. We provide aid in the form of supplies, funding for projects (such as the building of schools and homes), educational opportunities, creative opportunities, emotional support resources, self- esteem building opportunites, and much more. Kids Aid USA has no governmental, political, or religious affiliations. We distribute aid regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, or social status.
The Kids Aid USA Sri Lanka Tsunami Relief Fund is a long-term fund managed by Kids Aid USA. Our volunteers are currently working in villages throughout Northern, Eastern, and Southern Sri Lanka, in order to meet the rehabilitation needs of Sri Lankan children and their families who were affected by the December 2004 Tsunami. Funds donated to the Kids Aid USA Sri Lanka Tsunami Relief Fund will be disbursed directly to the tsunami survivors of Sri Lanka in the form of supplies or funding for projects. Money will not be channeled through other organizations or through the government, and Kids Aid USA will be directly accountable for the donations and how they are used to benefit the tsunami survivors of Sri Lanka.
